About

Janet Beckstrom, credentialed and published resume writer, has partnered with clients from all levels of the employment spectrum to craft their career success since 1991. Her expertise is designing and developing attention-generating, key-word-rich resumes and cover letters that showcase clients’ unique value.

In 2011 Janet was selected as 1 of 4  writers to serve as Resume Expert for the Institute of Supply Management’s online Career Center. In that role she analyzes members’ resumes and makes recommendations for improvement.

In order to effectively serve her clients and stay on the cutting edge of resume writing and job search techniques and strategies, Janet pursues professional development opportunities through the Career Thought Leaders Consortium, the Resume Writing Academy (under the direction of careers industry leaders Wendy Enelow and Louise Kursmark), and other training providers.

Janet has been a member of the Professional Association of Resume Writers and Career Coaches since 1994.

She has been a member of the Career Management Alliance since its founding in 1999 and a member of the Professional Association of Resume Writers and Career Coaches since 1994. Janet earned that organization’s Certified Professional Resume Writer (CPRW) credential in 2002. Janet has presented resume-writing seminars to various audiences. Fictionalized versions of resumes she has written have been published in more than 25 resume-writing trade books, many of which are available at major book stores and libraries.
